Pâtissier Chocolate Training Trip with Classic Fine Foods Vietnam
In partnership with our exclusive Vietnam Distributor – Classic Fine Foods Vietnam (CFF Vietnam), Pâtissier Chocolate conducted a training trip in Vietnam from 25 to 31 October 2022.
The training trip started with a workshop for pastry & processor customers at Classic Fine Foods Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City branch with 30 guests from popular bakery shops in HCM city.
On 27 October, Pâtissier Chocolate had a training day for 25 Pastry Chefs from various hotels in HCM at 5 - star hotel - Intercontinental Saigon.
Heading to Hanoi, we had a private demonstration for one of the most popular bakeries in Hanoi – Artemis and end our trip by a special training day for Pastry Chefs from various hotel & restaurant at Melia Hotel Hanoi.
The training trip aims to give all guests special recipes for upcoming festive season, especially classic chocolate cakes. Vietnamese recently are interested in trending cakes with eye-catching decorations; however, Chef Gerald would like to turn back to the good old days with unique recipes for common cakes - Black Forest with Amarena or Flourless Caramel dipping in almond sliced mixing with Pâtissier chocolate.
During the trip, Chef Gerald also shares his knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry and encourage young chefs to step out their comfort zones to improve their skills. He also emphasizes the importance of passion & love if they want to pursue this career path.
